survival. What kinds of plants are edible, and how to eat them. Medicinal uses
for different herbs and other vegetation that grow in the jungle, for things
like snake bites. You will also learn how to make clean drinking water, and purify it.
Then for your accommodation in the jungle, a banana leaf house that you build! This

The Program
ONE DAY JUNGLE TREKKING
The one day Jungle Trekking program starts at 9:00am, you start
by walking through The jungle ,then you get to catch fish in a small stream. Then the
Mountain River fish you catch, by hand, you get to learn to cook in Bamboo. After a
forfilling lunch,then your off to a Hill Tribe Village with Hill tribe People. And on the way back
you swim in a beautiful, refreshing Waterfall, then back to the Akha Hill House.

TWO DAYS, ONE NIGHT TREKS.
A unique trekking experience in primary mountain jungle. Our guides are born and raised in this
environment and on the trek you will learn many interesting facts about the flora and fauna
of this region. From your starting point at the Akha Hill House, one of the only traditionally sited
Akha villages left in Thailand, set high on a steep mountain ridge overlooking a magnificent valley,
you will trek though some of Thailand’s most beautiful scenery.On the trek you will carry a traditional
long bladed jungle Knife, with which you will be taught how to make everything you need for your
evening from bamboo. Chop sticks, cups, plates and the bamboo in which you will cook you rice,
that days catch from the river, plus the jungle herbs & vegetables.At the overnight camp you
will learn how to catch fish, crabs and prawns by building a small dam in the mountain stream -
a technique of the mountain people, That night you will build a banana leaf shelter where hopefully
you will sleep soundly after a most interesting and rewarding day. The next day after breakfast,
you trek through a high mountain valley, to the three tiered Huay Keaw waterfall. Returning to
the akha Hill Guest House in the late afternoon. about 4:30 pm
